N is for New York City

For the Easter weekend my family and I went to New York. It was very fun. My favorite thing was the Empire State building and the pizza I had the first night; it was definitely the best pizza I have ever had in my life!!! The thing I think that is the saddest thing is seeing the twin towers being rebuilt. It is really really sad. I find the least favorite thing was the red buses, because they were sooooooooooooooooooo slow, but gave you a really nice tour.

If I had a decision to live where I am or to live in New York, I would stay where I am now, because I find New York is just a little too crowded. Both New York and Guelph have their ups and downs. New York has amazing pizza and amazing stores, where Guelph there are all my friends, family, and my favorite sport dirt biking. I find it would be hard to leave my place and to go somewhere else like New York, but I would have to think about it, like I mean the pizza, it is like an angels kiss. If any of you guys no Manhattan pizza (Alex) you would say "wow that's great pizza". and I would be like "ya I know a, but not as good as the pizza I had at New York"; and he would be like "really", and I would be like "ya". So it would be very hard for me. Another thing I would miss is having a backyard, and grass. Im sure that the schools in New York don't have the property SJK has.

New York has many things to impress you, like Macy's, or Trump Tower. If you have gone to New York, comment, if you have not been to New York you may ask questions.

M is for Motocross

I love motocross so much, like so so so much. There isn't a sport in the world I like more. Motocross takes a lot of time and speed, most people think it is just sooooooo easy to ride a motocross bike, but really it is one of the greatest workouts for sports. I know what you are thinking, "typical Eric, says it is a great sport for a work out just because he loves it. Well that is not true because when I and all the pros riders sweat more than a black bear in 50°. When I race, and the gate drops I have trouble getting the hole shot, but when I get around the first turn I make a really good comeback.

Racing is hard on your body, but I love the exploration and intensity of the race. I love hitting big jumps and kickers. My top three favorite things to do in motocross is, rail a sand berm and hit jumps, pass my dad, and Win a race.

I am going to talk to you about my injuries in motocross and how they can be affective, it is very easy to break something in motocross, like your back, arms, legs, wrist, ankle, rips, and shoulder. It is hard on me and the pros body, because they are going for money, well I am not but they are.

It is important that if you are a pro to get fit and ready for this sport, just last year the pro James Stewart won 10 million dollars last year for riding a dirt bike, 10 million. That is a lot of money, but he isn't the smartest guy for handling his money, in one year he became broke, that is pretty sad, but this year he is out of the season because of a broken wrist, and now a 21 year old man has come, his name is Ryan Dungey. He has the current points lead. He has 21 points over Ryan Villopoto the second best, I am excited to see what happens this year and who will win the 2010 Supercross Championship, but personally I think Villipoto will win the outdoor Motocross Championship

The difference between Motocross and Supercross is Motocross you are outdoors in the summer and have big hills and big table tops, where in Supercross they do it in a stadium such as the Roger Center, they came to the Roger Center this year and it was amazing, seeing the Champs going for it, REALLY GOOD RACE!!!

L is for Love

I love my parents because they give me so much stuff that I love to use. For instants my motocross bike, I love motocross so much it is something to die for. Another thing I love is my xbox 360. My xbox is one of my favorite things to do inside. It makes me feel like I have all my friends over and playing at one time.

When I think of my parents, I think of them as good people, well great people. They help me with everything: motocross, school, homework, skiing, and driving me to all my sporting events. I feel good when they help me, but homework and school is the most important thing. I feel they help me a lot and maybe even too much. Though I don't love the teachers, I do like how they help with my school work and they help me get a better understanding of it. The thing that has helped the most in middle school is taking out French to spend time with tutors like Mrs. Palvetzian or Mrs. Falco. They give me a lot of support and time to think about work.

Another thing I love dearest to my heart is my dog Roxy. Every night she likes to sleep at the end of my bed. After she has a bath she likes to run as fast as she can around the house to dry off. She loves swimming she just doesn't like having to jump in the water. When she jumps in the water her head goes under the water but she gets back up and starts swimming to get her yellow tennis ball. When my dog Roxy sees snow she thinks of going outside and jumping in the snow to have a good time. I love my dog Roxy and I hope she loves me too.

K is for Kite

I like Kites because it makes you see the wonderful sky and fly them all around the earth. There are some pretty amazing places to fly kites. Florida, Mexico, Italy, there are all sorts of places to fly kites. My favorite place to fly a kite is right here in Canada because the wind picks it up and takes it away. You can have a kite in the winter, but it isn't as good because the kite gets a lot of snow on it.

A year ago i got a kite from Zellers. It is so cool but then right when we got home it had a hole in it. So we took it back to Zellers and got one that really didn't have a hole in it. And then next thing I know BOOM, I was home using my kite. It was so fun I flex it around with my gram pa and my mom and dad, 1 of the greatest days of my life because I was with my awesome family having fun with them. Then we had dinner but there was one problem, I LEFT THE KITE OUT SIDE. It flew out into the lake, So my sweet dad went and started the seadoo really fast and went to go get it, nothing was wrong with it but it was a little wet. My dad was mad at me but i understand because if that happens again what happens if my dad isn't there :(. It will be gone.

J is for Jordan

J is for Jordan

Jordan is a funny guy and has good potenshills ok I will be honest what does potenshill mean Ms Weldon, I hope it means something good :). Any way why do I do my blog on Jordan because he has a good nicknames, very funny, has no idea how old Will Ferel is, and how many places citys there are in the united satates, just kidding Jordan I'm sure you know how many citys there are ;). I am going to talk about Jordans life and when i firest meat him in grade 1.

It was the start of grade 1 I saw Jordan do a funny thing, put his salks all the way to the top of his angles. I said wow man you are whereing tights hahahahhahahahah. But of cousre that would not be funny today just because of our age and stuff. When we were in grade two nobody wanted to work with me :(, but than jordan said hey buddy wanna be partners with me and I was like, SWEET DUDE SWEET, and have liked him ever since. OK I am going to skip some grades here 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7. wow ok we are at modern day. Jordan is a really good friend, well thats what I think. I hope Jordan stays at the best school ever S.J.K. Because from there who nows where we will go. maybe hate each other, Become best friends, or even come up to my cottage. I can't wait till grade 8 thanks for a some sweet 7 years seya Dog and Ms Weldon.

Life lession if u arent a friend with jordan yet make sure you do become friends.

H is for Having Fun with Friends

H is for having fun with your friends. Having fun with friends is super important, because if you don't have fun with your friends you shall do such things as, wanna go skiing or, lets go dirt biking or, have a great day at the ice cream shop. You have the power to do what you want to do with your friends and they also have the power to do it with you. Friends to the end is what they say, because when you have a friend to the end, they are with you for the rest of your life. Example from age 1 to age 100, my best fried at school is Alex , Alex Craig to be exact, he is a funny guy, o and actually I did a blog on him not to long ago like 3 weeks or a month ago. Ha Funny!

When someone asks you who is your best friend you may say Alex or Tommy or Damon, whoever it is make sure they like you to and make sure you have a friend to the end because then you can talk about good experiences and great times you had at Canada's Wonderland and other places.

I have friends at Beaver Valley Ski Club, friends at Motopark, and friends and school. On Friday I got to ski with some of my school friends at Osler Ski hill.

G is for Going Skiing With My Cousin's

G is for Going Skiing, Skiing is one of my favorite sports. I love the motivation and the tricks involved in it. When I do a trick in skiing it feels like you are going super slow when you are doing a trick and it feels nice.

I am going to talk about my self in skiing. I started skiing at the age of 2. I hated it at first but my parents said " Eric if You keep on skiing you will feel very good and you will be very healthy". So I took there word. The first time I watched a pro ski was on TV. I found it was so cool how fast and low they would get to the ground, at age 5 - 8 I loved racing and going fast. At about age 9 My Cousin (Just call them cousins because they are our neighbors and we eat together every Sunday night) got into freestyle when he started he could do 180, 360, and 540. He was amazing I thought he was so cool, well he is still cool but anyway it was amazing. When I started freestyle I could only do 90's and if I was lucky a 180 that day. anyway back to my cousin Dolly, Dolly can do a 720, my cousin Owen can do a 900 corked out mute and my older cousin Elliot can do cork 1080. My cousin's our insane, Dolly is even better than me. She is amazing I mean 720, holy molly. I mean I can only do 360.

Starting this great new paragraph I know that you are probably going to wanna read more. I am going to talk about the ski club. I ski at Beaver Vally, Beaver Vally has one of the best freestyle parks in Ontario. It has great jumps and great rails. But I think Blue mountain is going to be a competitor this year.

F is for Flying on West Jet and not Air Canada

F is for flying on West Jet, because West Jet is one of the best air line in the world.

The reason I love West Jet so much is the TVs, the speed, the way they take your luggage, and the jokes they tell at the end of the flight, HA HA. West Jet is one of the safest flights in Canada. They will take you to nice places such as the Caymans, every one loves the Caymans, or how about Florida, in Florida there's Disney, Walt Disney to be exact. Look at the sun light the rides, the hotels, every one loves a good hotel. This is the best of West Jet.

Now let me tell you why you should not take Air Canada. Air Canada takes a long time to get to your destination, they lose your luggage, sure they have touch screen TVs but they always freeze, never a good show on, and when you get off your plane. "O sorry we forgot your luggage, please come again, I mean come on really, you want us to come again, uh uh!!! I don't really think so. I mean what a waste of money, are you kidding me, THANK YOU AIR CANADA MAYBE YOU SHOULD START WAKING UP AND NOT BEING ASLEEP. Sorry about that its just AIR CANADA!!! But you know there is West Jet, o ya and I heard on the radio that West Jet is giving 50 000 dollars to Haiti. Now that is smart.

E is for Elephants

E is for elephants, the reason I decided to do my speech on elephants is because they are huge. They may be slow but holy molly that is huge. I cant believe their body strength, they can pull anything from cars to transport trucks. They are super cool and super fun to see. I have rode an elephant before when I was 5 years old. It was super amazing of how slow and high we were. Every time they put there foot down it was wow how did you do that there is a hole there big boy, how did you do that with your foot.

I find the 3rd worst thing in the world is people that take elephant tusks. Why would you want to do that to an elephant, elephants are greatest animals I and you shall have ever seen, how would you like if some one cut of your teeth. Its wrong, ITS WRONG. I hate when ever that happens because elephants are going extinct and we need to do something now.

Life lesson Jail anyone that takes elephant tusks.

D is for Double Straw Berry Skittles

Double Strawberry Skittles are unbelievable, it taste like a strawberry but it's a candy. The Best part about a double strawberry skittle is it sometimes hurts you,like when someone punches you in the face you could choke on the skittle, o and trust me it hurts. Someday I hope to taste a triple strawberry skittle but for now a double strawberry skittle is enough.

The worst part about a double strawberry skittle is it has no different colours it is just RED. but sometimes you can put food colouring on the skittle and it changes colour. Skittles have made a new skittle that if it falls on the ground it comes with a vacuum cleaner. The vacuum cleaner takes the skittle puts it in the cleaner and whala there it is your fine skittle. I hope that you guys and Mrs Weldon eats this skittle and you will see why I wrote about the skittle.

Life Lesson if you are getting a skittle, make sure you get the double strawberry ones

C is for Caymon

Last year in 2009 me and my family went to the Cayman islands. It was my best trip yet, we went scuba diving, snorkeling, and most of all we got caught up in our SLEEP!!! My mom loved it. They had a golf course in the back of our hotel so she played tones of golf. Me and My dads favorite part of the trip was scuba diving. My dad and I went in to ship wrecks and through a tunnel of coral. We had a dive master tell us where to go and where not to go. When we went scuba diving we saw some great colours of fish and a big eel. My dad got some fantastic pictures of me and the fish and I think he got the eel.

The Last day what I had for lunch was a huge plate or french fries. Then my dad had a great idea!!!!!!!! "LETS GO IN THE WATER SON" and of course I agreed, so we went in the water we got to the marker and, BAM just hurled in the water. It was the worst part of the trip. All the fish were going crazy over it. They eat it all really dirty and disgusting. So there is a little high light of my trip, hope you in joyed and don't go swimming when you have just ate a plate of fries.

B is for Basketball

B is for basketball because basketball is one of the best sports and one of toughest sports I find.

The reason I like basketball so much is the workout and how there are 2 and 3 points. The three point line is 23ft away from the basket and the 2 point line is any where in side the three point line. The thing that is hard about basketball is getting good dangles around people in a game. The reason of that being is that you can't always get around the person if they are following you, having the hands all around you, and even sometimes when they are standing still.

Some things I don't like about basketball is how there is a back court violation and a shot clock. I mean why do we really need a shot clock, I think that the player can't hold it for 20 seconds but the man is allowed to pass it and then the shot clock resets. Plus why is there a back court violation, I think the player should be able to go behind the line or even pass back to the other side, if I could fix something that's what it would be for me.

This is my first year on the basketball team, the reason I like the team is our couch Mr Snare, and my team mates Alex, Gabe, Mitch, Thomas, Marcus, Ronnie, and if I missed you just comment. This is my team and this is why I like basketball.

A is for Alex

Alex is a small person in a big world, he likes soccer, football, basketball, skiing, and of course those nutra grain bars. He really gets mad when someone takes his stuff or bugs him. He is in Tecumseh with 4 good team mates, Tyler,Damon,Jordan,and Andy. He likes playing but doesn't know when to stop. His top three foods are pizza, perigee's and spaghetti. On the week ends he goes on the Internet a lot.

So why did I pick Alex, because he plays basketball and has a good sense of humour. He tells me whats wrong and whats right. But there are sometimes when he just does not make sense, like what is a Renaldo and I really don't know what that means. Alex you are one heck of a guy.
